I heard years ago that wearing blue shows respect towards the judge, so go with a standard or royal blue shirt and a plain navy tie. When selecting a tie, stay away from ties with cute and cartoony designs, like little turtles and dinosaurs, and cats frolicking about - you're almost certain not to be taken seriously in court with that.

White shirt with a navy blue tie with a subtle design, like diagonal stripes or just plain navy.

A navy or camel blazer and slacks would help, too.

You want to show respect to the Court, by dressing in conservative attire.

No Johnny Cochran suits. It won't fit, and the judge won't acquit.

Good luck!

White shirt with red tie. Red shows power.

Good luck in court.

I have found that pastels are best. I have tested this many times myself. Trust me, go with a pastel shirt and a darker matching solid color tie.

Light but not white shirt. Darker tire to match suit. Unless you are going for the sexual assault of a child. In that case wear bright pink. It will show the judge your innocence.

well..it`s hard to say without knowing the charge..i mean..if it`s arson..DON`T WEAR RED..if it`s an evil deed..DON`T WEAR WHITE..if is larceny, money laundering or fraud...DON`T WEAR GREEN....and Dude..for Chri**S sake..whatever it is ...don`t do it again. On the other hand if it`s for a civil suit, misdemeanor, custody battle or all other things that will not bring about a sentence...WEAR BRIGHT COLORS..it shows confidence and alertness. good luck.
