Nope. Well at least it didn't hurt me a bit :) It only hurts a tad when they twist in the nose screw if you get that kind. A nose screw is the best kind.
but:
-DO NOT where makeup on your nose
-DO NOT twist or fiddle with it
-DO NOT put anything on it
-DO NOT use cotton swab, cotton ball, rag, or anything to clean or touch it with. Particles from the objects will get into it and irritate it.
-DO get your nose peirced on the obisite side you wake up on so you do not cause a lot of irritation.
-IF you get a red or purple bump on or by it put tea tree oil on it, wash your hands and use a clean finger to apply it to the bump. Tea Tree oil cost around $15.

You will have minimal pain if the piercer uses a regular needle and not a gun. It is also benficial to use only nose screws or fishtails until it is healed. Clean it twice daily with saline or antibacterial soap. Try to keep your hands from it and do not rub or irritate it. As was said before, you must minimalize your makeup use in that area.

i haven't gotten my nose pierced but I'm assuming it hurts WAY more than getting ur ears pierced
