i used winamp mate, its quality and works with everything, get rid of limewire though, its full of viruses,
i use frostwire at the minute and its awesome, faster downloads and safer aswell,

I've dragged songs from LimeWire to ITunes.

Lime Wire is a peer to peer file sharing program. You can use ANY player you want that is compatible with the files you download to play them.
The two items are totally unrelated.

Nothing runs limewire, it is full of viruses. I would get it off your computer asap.
