This is a tough one. You know yourself since you cut down already. The symptoms don't last forever, so don't despair!
You should contact your doc and explain your situaiton if possible. Since you are on a low dose now, the rest should go reasonably well. Keep cutting down the way you're doing, but know that the uncomfortable feelings will last a couple of weeks, (shorter if you exercise and drink a lot of water to clear your system.)
I've been on and off of these kind of meds, called benzodiazepams, for over ten years. It never gets any easier when you start taking them again. So if you want to avoid these jitters, then find an alternative med the next time you feel the anxiety coming on. One that I use is Benadryl at 50 to 75 mg.
Know that your symptoms are VERY normal!! So many people end up back on the meds because of these symptoms. That is why docs only prescribe up to a certain dose..understanding that abrubt withdrawl can cause seizures at high doses!
You're lucky that your symptoms are not that severe, but know that they are certainly real, and those around you might not know what you're going through. Take a few days and take care of yourself. Ignore what friends say if they take the attitude, "Just get over it!"
This medicine is one of the most prescribed, and the most addicting medicine in the world, so what you are doing is not easy. But it can be done. Keep yourself very busy with things that you need to do, and when you think about taking the medicine, have a certain thought that you replace it with, like, "Oh, I need to wash clothes." etc.
Most of all, tell your doctor because he or she might consider replacing the medicine with a non-addicting one that also works on anxiety. The doc will taper you off over a period of about three to four weeks. Just don't stop all of a sudden, because that can put you in the hospital.
I'm not a doctor, but I have pharmaceautical experience in dispensing these meds. You are right to seek advice. Keep a network of understanding friends who can listen to your struggles and let you know it is okay to feel the way you do. You are reacting to the medicine, and pretty soon, your good days will outnumber the bad ones :-)

When we get "truly" with God, we will be able to not do a self exploration, for the reason that the ancient self is obvious to be a fantasy, however alternatively we come to detect designated truths. These truths disappointed the carnal guy for they're his loss of life. It looks that many are content material with their sunglasses on and dwelling in Egypt.

I'd try taking one daily for two weeks, then cut down to 1/2 tab for two weeks. Another thing you could do is ask your dr. for a different anti-anxiety med such as Klonopin. It really helps anxiety and is longer-acting.

See the section on depression at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 2, and get a pill splitter or mortar & pestle.

klonapin? no. you need to just get off downers. i would start taking half a pill for a week or so, and then not look back. then tell whoever gives them to you to stop giving them to you.
