Real Life: Before I graduated High School last year, I had become friends with this teacher. We always talked and said "Hi" to each other everytime we saw each other. He was also a big teaser. One day, I guess something had changed, because I suddenly started feeling smothered by him. That's when I had this one dream. I had been sitting on this table and he was sitting on the one beside me. For some unknown reason, I pushed my table away from his, but it made me go further away than intended. I suddenly realized that this dream meant that I had pushed him away further than ever and that I might not get that friendship back.

Well, now that I've graduated and I don't go to that school anymore, I haven't spoken to him at ALL. But, last Friday, I had gone to this event at that school where he was. I didn't think anything of it at the time, then I realized everything was the same from the days before I graduated to now. He didn't even acknowledge me or say anything to me. But, I left early for dinner anyway, so I didn't care about talking to him anyway. That's when last night occured. I hadn't been thinking of his friendship or anything, and that's when I had this one dream.

Dream: I had visited my old high school to talk to the teacher. But, we suddenly became friends again and we were better friends than we were before we stopped talking to each other. I sat in the mornings with him and talked as he e-mailed and looked things up on the borrowed school computer that sat on his desk.

What does this mean? Does it mean that I'll get his friendship back sometime, or that I really want his friendship back?

From your first dream you seemed to have subconsciously put a barrier between you and him. He picked up on the vibe and backed off, which he should have. It's not socially acceptable for authority figures to flirt with their charges.

To me, the second dream indicates that those unconscious barriers have been removed. You are free to proceed in any way you want with this man. It doesn't necessarily mean that you want a friendship or anything else from him. You've just come of age.

This dream was probably generated by your emotions regarding the situation. It doesn't mean that you will necessarily get his friendship back. In other words, it does not seem to be a prophetic dream speaking to you about your future. But, that does not mean you will or will not get his friendship back. It is simply a reflection of your emotions and thoughts of this situation (which you already know about). If you desire to restore or rekindle the friendship, then you should consider talking to the teacher about it. Most important thing is to clearly communicate to him what you want from the relationship (friendship) so that there is no misunderstanding (which should prevent any uncomfortable situations for either of you). If he is married or has a girlfriend, he might be uncomfortable about having a deep relationship with you, even as a friend. But, do not take that personally. It is in no way saying that something is wrong with you. So, don't let the outcome discourage you if the friendship does not work out. You are obviously a kind and sensitive person, which is what people want in a good friendship.

Hm...it seems that you want his friendship back. I think you should talk to him the next time you get a chance.

It also sounds like he may have had a thing for you, and HE really was the one who pushed away, so he wouldn't end up doing anything.

Hi,
I wouldn't read too much into it. You may have just had that dream because you revisited the school & were reminded of the former friendship with him.

It definately denotes a desire to see him again or a renewal of friendship....but you already know that.... asking questions we know the answer to, helps us realise what u want, sometimes we cant see it till its asked ...Dreams do the same for us.
