I don't think most people do.
I see so many "science is the aboslute truth, stop reading fairy tales"
And "Jesus is the only truth and the only way, repent or burn in everlasting hell"
It hurts my head. None of you people are absolutely sure of anything, so stop making absolute statements. It's nice that you have your beliefs or whatever, but don't shove them down peoples throats. No amount of current evidence can prove or disprove wether God or some deity exists or does not exist.
There is a big grey area that we have no clue about just yet.

I've learned lots on this forum, and also met some really nice people. I'm sure most of the answers are from opinions, but they are opinions that someone has experienced and can tell us about it. Sometimes that's better than a fuddy-duddy politically correct answer.

I think that because it is a forum of opinion on Religion and Spirituality you are going to find very strong opinions here. It's a topic that a lot of people feel "right" about and have the need to share their thoughts with strong convictions.
I enjoy most of the spiritual discussions.

Much of it is opinion, but occasionally someone asks a factual question. Just like any other human institution, religions have attributes about which someone may have questions. When it gets to God and interpretations of sacred texts, however, it's pretty much every person opinion counts equally well.
Unless of course, you can cite evidence.

Of course it is only a forum of opinion. I see all kinds of people on here that post stuff against Christianity. The stuff that they say is only opinion. I do not take it for a fact, if I did I wouldn't be a Christian anymore.

The 'uptight' responses are merely opinions, too.
I'm not sure if name-calling is really the best way to express an opinion, though.

Of opinion yes, however, if you stand behind your answers from the Scriptures and are in harmony with everything else it is God's Word, not my opinion.
