any war between China and the US would automatically be a nuclear war (to quote the Chinese), therefore everyone would be killed.

China. The orientals do not believe in human rights like we do. Ex: Japan in WWII and the treatment of prisioners and civilians. It has been like that since time immemorial. They do anything to win no matter how barbaric it is. They rather destroy the world than to lose. And by the way, the war is inevitable. It will be here in 10 to 15 years over trade and alliances. They are already courting Latin America to turn them more on their side and against us.Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, etc... are alining themselves with China vs. the USA. The chinese already have a base in Cuba, the old russian listening station in El Wujay outside Havana. The russian closed it because it was costing them $2 mil. a year plus the employees salaries. The chinese jump at the opportunity and were willing to pay for the chance to spy on the USA. Soon they will start putting military bases in Latin America, if they do not have them already, in Cuba or Venezuela to be able to retaliate against us in case of a disagreement.

C'mon now, China's economy is pretty reliant on us. Were their
number one consumer of their products. They may crush us in
numbers and nukes, but in the end their economy will topple like
that of the US. Beside's, that war would be pointless because the U.K would more than likely side with us, and if India did as
well... The war would be very close to even besides the fact that North Korea would probably side with China and they have more reserve troops then our active and reserve combined (that's North Korea). That would be a war to end all wars. But I'll never live to see that happen.

Well, if they attacked us, our mainland, they might take a coast. If we attacked them, I wouldn't say they would win, but it would take us a long time to win. Considering that they don't use aircraft carriers and we have a navy that can deploy anywhere any time, and we also have pilots that are worth about 5 of any other countries, we would would probably win. The USA's will to fight in a situation like that is too powerful. In a real war, you don't screw with the US. Any Questions? Oh, and the whole Iraq thing, we are fighting insurgents, Insurgents always win, always have, always will. So Iraq and China are different. Also, about trade, Europe would probably come to our aid. Cutting off trade with china, making china poor, making it fall like the soviet union.

Answer: Neither, heard of a nuke, 2 nukes skrewed japan over, and its still skrewing them over 70+ years later.

Think of 16000 of them at probably up to 50x the power, nuking china, and i dont know how many nuking america, youd be skrewed over for the rest of your lifetime.

The US couldn't even win against a small country like Iraq, even if the British are fighting alongside as allies. The Iraq war is already in its 4th year and US victory is still not certain. Now, think of a lot bigger and more powerful country like China as the enemy.

Neither side would "win".

Both have nukes, but we have many more. We couldn't invade because they outnumber us by too much. They couldn't invade us because they'd have no way of getting here. We'd just blast each other until we got tired of it.
