The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world, 52 feet rise and fall at the head of the Bay. It is also the summer home of the last remaining northern right whales - there are only 300 left. You can go whale watching around the St. Andrews area, which is a lovely resort area with historic homes and attractions. A gorgeous drive all along the coast of the Bay.

In Saint John see the unique and historic City Market and the NB Museum, with plenty of fascinating exhibits. Plenty of historic houses and streetscapes. Lots of antique shops, art galleries and boutiques. Also the Reversing Falls, where the Saint John River flows two ways. A beautiful walk along the harbour through Harbour Passage.

The Saint John River has been called the "Rhine of America", a beautiful drive through farmland and forests overlooking the scenery of the river itself, which has been the main mode of transportation through the province ever since the days of the Miqmaq and Malecite.

And no matter where you go, there are plenty of clean uncrowded beaches. Enjoy!

Pays de la Sagouine in Buctouche is great. You get Acadian music, literature, food, drink and demonstrations of traditional skills like boat building all on their own island. Nearby is the Buctouche dunes which is first-rate ecotourism. The Fundy rocks are awesome-you just need to keep an eye on the tide tables. Alma is on the way and it's the place that usually used for those high tide/low tide postcard pictures of normal boats/grounded boats. Last fall in Fundy park I had to stop my car for a cow moose and her calf who thought they owned the road. They just ambled along the road taking up both lanes with me following behind them?! I can't promise you will be so lucky, but Fundy park is very natural.

For culture the Sackville-Dorchester gallery circuit is an excellent drive. You also might want to check out some of the tourist "fromage" in NB, like Magnetic Hill outside Moncton and the world's largest lobster in Shediac. For culture in NB, nothing beats the Beaverbrook Gallery in Fredricton. When Lord Beaverbrook died, he left the best of the art he owned to the province where he was born. He lots of money, and very good taste so it makes for a nice gallery. I really only know about southeastern NB-for Saint John or the north maybe someone else could suggest something.

On top of everything already mentionned, you should go to Caraquet and visit Le Village Acadian. Acadians are French-Canadians that have lived in the Marimes since 1604 when Champlain landed in what is now Nova-Scotia.
Also Shippagan has a Fisheries musuem.
One of the nicest beach in New-Brunswick can be found in Shediac.
