Okay ive been reading many answers, and I have looked up diffrent sources on the internet that said we did not evolve from chimps, monkeys, apes or ect. They just are close realtives. So exactly what did we evolve from? A friend of mine said that we evolved out an earlier form of humans, and later changed. But wouldnt that prove that humans were here to begin with.

Imagine a branching tree, one that is incredibly complex, but nonetheless traceable back to the trunk.

Imagine that at this time, humans, chimps, the other ape species, monkey species, etc. are each sitting at the very tip of nearby branches. Slowly you begin to trace them back. For the homo sapiens (humans) you go back and you see our species emerged from homo erectus, which in turn had evolved from homo habilis. In addition to these species, other hominid (human-like) species emerged but fell into extinction (e.g. homo neanderthal). These lines that went extinct have branches on the tree that do not extend to the present day, but instead end many thousands of years ago.

As we follow the branch back, at some point, long before any humans ever evolved, the branches that eventually became apes and humans have a meeting point. Up until then, the evolutionary process had not yet split to create different species (i.e., different fashions for surviving the stresses of the world). Tracing the branches back further, you will find the the point where apes, monkeys and lemurs split off from one another. As you go further back, you will continue to find lines that end with extinction. These species were not able to adapt to the planetary changes and the stresses of competition for food, water, and warmth.

Going back you will find where mammals emerged from reptiles, reptiles from amphibians, amphibians from lungfish, lungfish from fish, fish from other sea creatures, on back to the base of the tree, where you will find the very first life that could reproduce itself, which was probably some sort of amino acid such as RNA. These acids developed in an environment that was highly energized, so they didn't need to generate much energy. Over time this became the primordial life that eventually developed enough complexity to become us. This has taken millions of years, and as such it is hard to see every branch. But with each passing year, greater and greater evidence for this branching has shown up and continues to confirm the validity of the theory of evolution as the manner in which species came to exist on this planet.

Does it really matter what scientists say where humans came from? Scientist find things and they theorize beliefs from the evidense they find. They found a Neanderthal in England so they had to change their theory. Scientists don't really know anything; they just hypothesize everything and hope that it's right. In ten years they'll discover something new and have to change their theories again.

It has a missing link...

Oh yeah thats the actual "ancestor" we evolved from.

They can't find it, but they can find dinosaurs?

Evolutionist don't listen to Archeologist's when they tell them that it's simply not true.

because they don't want to listen too facts and give up all the government funding

Our species, and some of the great apes, had a common primate ancestor, which in turn had other less-primate ancestors, and so on. (Either the genetic or the fossil evidence would be conclusive, and we have both.) For details, see:

New?
It's not a new theory, and evolution is a very slow and very gradual process; there's almost never a noticeable difference between two successive generations.

the earlier humans were from earlier monkeys which were from smaller mammal and it keeps getting less and less complex

It's too hard to keep up with the evolutionist on here.

One week we came from monkeys.
The next it's a fish
then a bird
etc.

Evolution is to roll out and God did the rolling...it's as simple as that.
