I think the average weigh of a female who's 5'4 would probably be somewhere between 110-120.

you have to go by your BMI and not what J-LO or Beyonce look like. Your BMI is you Body Mass Index. The way to see what frame you are supposed to be is by trying to wrap your middle finger and your thumb around your wrist. If they cant touch then your'e naturally large framed, if they kinda touch then you are medium framed, if they definately touch then you are small. Then you could get on the internet and look up how many pounds you are supposed to be in terms of your height. But remeber that curves add weight as well as many other things, and so don't focus so much on weight as you should proper diet and exercise, and how you look. Some people look phenominal in a size 7 whereas others look anorexic. Dont do crash diets and wild exercises, follow a style that you could live well into your adult life and feel good and healthy

first of all, you might want to calculate your body mass index (BMI) to see what weight category you're in: underweight, normal weight, overweight, obesity.
and here is a chart to help you see what is an ideal weight for your height: http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/height_weight.shtml
just scroll down a bit and it's there.
so it looks like you should lose about 20-30 pounds depending on your body structure. you know, like, how wide your bone-structure is. wide hips, small hips, etc.
use this site to find out what your body-structure frame is, it's REALLY easy. just do number one and it'll tell you: http://weightloss.about.com/c/ht/00/07/Assess_Body_Weight0962933781.htm
knowing your body frame size will help you determine what a good weight is for you. don't do anything else on that site, the calculation thing they tell you how to do is written wrong. i tried it and it said my ideal weight is 523 pounds. that's more like ideal weight for a guaranteed heart attack! xD
okay and here is a chart based on body frame: http://www.dragonboatcalendar.com/fitness.htm the chart is at the very bottom of the page.
i'm 5'9.5" and 137 pounds and small-framed and i look very good, if that helps any. i mean, these charts can be a general guideline, but a good weight is different for everyone.
a little thing that should help you lose weight is DON'T EAT BREAD. my friend stopped eating bread and lost 10 pounds.
bread is evil.
GOOD LUCK!!! :)

It's too big of a goal to say "I want to lose so many pounds "
Start off simple with five pounds at a time.
At your age stop drinking your calories and carbs- drink only things with low calories and carbs. Check the label.
Watch the amount of fried foods you eat and zoop up your exercise .
Have fun. Join a team or club of some sort.
Good luck

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Your ideal body weight should be about 120lbs. Start slow and gradually work toward your weight loss goals by making smarter eating choices and increasing your exercise. I would recommend visiting www.mypyramid.gov where you can create a healthy eating plan by simply entering your age, gender, and activity level.

I think 120, 125 is a good weight for your age. But it mostly depends on if you're curvy or not.
