That sounds like a very sound diet, personally. There is nothing in that diet that is "off limits" and everything is lean meats, veggies, and fruit....looks like a very healthy eating plan to me.
People are so used to eating fast food and going out to eat that they suggest "seeing your doctor". I don't really see a need to do that. Just make sure you're getting enough calories. Good luck

Tuna and fish are really good for you. Skinless chicken is best since it eliminates the fatty skin. Green veggies are great since they also have calcium. Skim milk is healthier due to the fat content in whole milk. A multi vitamin probably can't hurt.
But where are your whole grains? Fiber is pretty important no matter how old you are. Also, other fruits contain antioxidants and potassium (bananas, berries).
Hmmmm - I say balance is the key here, and that includes exercise.

That may get you thin, but it doesn't sound like it's very healthy.
Please, for all the dieters out there: go see a nutritionist before you decide to go with the two-cans-of-tuna diet, or before you completely cut out carbs, or whatever.
As far as multi-vitamins go, most of the vitimans in the pill do not stay in your body. Some of them are only fat soluble, and some just don't have the time to absorb. The only way to get the proper amount is to consume it through food.

yeah, have fun with that, tuna boy... your friend is not wrong, but there are a few things missing in your diet plan. a high protein diet will help preserve muscle mass while burning fat, but you need to take in enough calories otherwise you will lose alot of muscle with the fat, besides, how long can you go just eating tuna?? do you have an exercise routine or are you hoping the fat magically disappears by eating fish? you are going to have to eat about 200 grams of proein daily to preserve muscle mass, that means about 5 or 6 cans of tuna per day!! unless you have some carbs in there too, i suggest brown rice, oatmeal, and yams/ sweet potatoes, along with plenty of vegetables each meal. the tuna diet isnt for me, and i dont know if you are the same caliber physique as stallone, but hey, if you think it will work, go at it... i think there are better ways to go about cutting up.

Sounds like you are talking about a typical high protein/low carb diet. If that appeals to you, look into Atkins or South Beach diets to find a little more variety. Those types of diets do help drop the weight fast, but they can be hard to stick to, and if you don't vary your diet enough, you are going to get bored with it and that would make it less likely for you to stick to. Look into a variety of fruits and veggies to add to that diet for a little better balance anyway. Best of luck to you friend.

The tuna will not give you the carbohydrate you need to get you through the day. Tuna is great protein but you'll suffer on a very low carb diet.

It sounds good except that tuna has mercury so you'd want to be careful with that. If you do it get chunk light tuna - it has less mercury. And try to get at least 30g of fat per day. Any less than that is not healthy.
