I have a stop on a cruise ship in Key West, we are only there until 2:00, so I don't want something too hard to get to. What would be the best beach to visit?

Aye -- very little beach in Key West. When stopping there on a ship, you'll want to hit up the shops, galleries and bars right around the port. You might also take the conch train tour, rent a scooter and drive around old town, rent a jetski, go on a glass bottom boat tour or visit Mel Fisher's museum. Make sure you check out the Southernmost marker (it's a great photo op) and Ernest Hemingway's house. My favorite place is the aquarium -- it's not modern like most others you've seen, but that's part of its charm.

I doubt you'll be there for sunset but if you are, check out Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square -- lots of neat things going on.

If you absolutely have to have a beach, then check out Casa Marina -- they have a very small beach, complete with an outdoor tiki bar.

Beach? Key West is not really a "beach" kind of place. You'll want to hit down town and the bars and shops, which is right there when you dock, and you'll be plenty busy until time to go. I'd avoid the beach, what little beach there is.
