at todays race jeff gordon won with a steaming hot car. i was looking at the nascar webste at the lap by lap review. on 1 lap it said gordons team told him to turn off all elctrical things he could(im assuming it was to keep the car cool).just wondering what electrical appliances could he turn off while driving.

They have fan blowers to blow on the beads of the tires and brakes. Also the drivers have personal cooling systems within the car he might have been able to turn off also

Turn off various blowers and fans that are secondary to the actual cooling fan.
