You can hook them both up, but you probably cannot bridge the amp to the two subs. Most amps can't safely run a 2-ohm load in bridged mode.

To power subs you should buy a class D mono amp, if your subs are rated at 400watts RMS each then you want a 800x1/ 400x2 RMS rated amp. If your subs are 200watts RMS each then a 400x1/200x2 watt RMS amp is needed. You can always overpower subs a little but never underpower them. I dont recommend using a 2 channel amp to power subs, class D monos are safer and use alot less power from your autos charging system. You also need to brush up on wiring amps correctly if u dont already know how and when to wire in series and/or parallel. Use link below to help understand. Connect the speakers together in series, not parallel. Hook the positive wire from one speaker to the positive output screw on the jack. Twist the negative wire from that speaker to the positive wire of the other speaker. Tape or wire nut these together, these do not get connected to the amp. Connect the remaining negative wire from the other speaker to the negative on the amp. THis creates a total resistance of the speakers of 8 ohms. Less than 4 ohms will lessen the life of your amp. Connecting the speakers to the amp by having both negative wires and positive wires connected will give 2 ohms resistance. Just remember greater than 4 ohms and it will be ok.

Just wire each sub to each channel. No need for any "special" wiring of the subs.

It should work, if not just try one. Might need a bigger amp.
