Most branches of the military/government do not accept piercings on their members, should they find out you have them, they make you remove them.
Tattoos, in general, are fine. Though I would imagine they would prefer you keep them in places that are easily hidden, though as someone else mentioned, you can cover them up with make up.

The secret service should not be a problem, I know it is an issue with the FBI and CIA because it's such an identifying mark, and sometimes they need to not be known.....
To make sure though you should just wait till you are done with your degree and are actually working in the field or at least in the process of getting the job. Then you will know for sure. If you can't wait then it's probably an impulsive thing and you shouldn't get one in the first place. They are permanent, so if it's something you really want it should be worth waiting for.

tattoos yes, a lot of ex-military go on to the secret service. But piercings no each agent needs to look professional i know it's weird. another thing is that agents need to speak and type in perfect English too.

Well, if you have piercings and tattoos, people will identify you easily. For example, this sounds more FBI than Secret Service, but if a "bad guy" took you as hostage and demanded your identity and you weren't supposed to give it to him, he'd know anyway because of your tattoos/piercings.

Are you female? Then MI5 want you. They need women to blend onto the crowd...if you can speak arabic then that is even better. You will need to improve your standard of written/typed English if you want to be accepted into the intelligence services. Bad habits etc.

I agree totally w/ EDIE. How good an agent do you want
to be? Tatts and pierces could get you killed, tho you're
probably at greater risk of burning yourself while serving
coffee at Starbucks.

To fit in with most conservative businesses, the best place for a guy to get a tattoo is on their lips. That way, you can easily cover it up with lipstick if it becomes a problem.

They won't mind the piercings or tattoos.

They will insist you can use the English language properly.

Work on your grammar first. You've got to be articulate and speak clearly. Communication is much more important then tatoos.
