my best (guy)friend likes me and our friendship is falling apart QUICKLY! Because i dont feel the same way about him. I care about him so much and i do want him in my life but not like that. I feel like the only way to keep our friendship going is to be his girlfriend. Should i even tho i am in a deep like of somebody else?

i was in love with my friend for so long that i couldn't even go to her wedding, because it made me feel sick to see her with someone, we never had a relation ship but it felt like one,
my point is, now we are best friends again and her partner is great. if you don't like him in a relationship way, then explain to him these feelings must stop, if he really loves you then respect you as a friend and accept that it can only be that way, he will be hurt but a friendship is better than nothing at all.

No. Cause if he really is your friend, and likes you then he would understand. Just tell him you would rather things stay the way they are b/c he's more like a brother/friend to you. If he gets mad and doesn't want to carry on the friendship, then just pursue your dreams with the up most eagerness.

You should just tell him the truth that U only want to be friends and U don't have any romantic feeling 4 him but just platonic. Don't give him hope but just tell him how U feel bout him truthfully . I think he will respect U if Ur honest. If he does not then he is not the person U think he is

no going out with him will only make things worse. Some friends are seasonal friends they will change like the weather. one day they are there the next day they are not. Not all of our friends that we make in a lifetime are meant to be in our lives for a lifetime, sometimes they are only here for the season

I say if you have to ask other people if you should say yes then you already know the answer. Just say no...if you pity dated him you will end up hating him and probably vicea versa. Try to work out your friendship if it really means something to you.

definitely not. u wouldnt be doin this guy any favours by fakin feelins that u dont hve. if u realy care about this guy the only thing to do is be honest with him. if he really is a good guy he will respect ur feelins and appreciate ur honesty. i admt its a tricky situation but ya shud never play games wen it comes to relationships- just be honest.

no way honey, he needs to decide what is more important, your friendship or sleeping with you. if he was a genuine friend, he wouldn't put you in this position........i know, i have feelings for a lady friend but will not pursue them as i value her friendship more (easy for me to say, i'm an ugly old bloke).

If your friend can't understand how you feel about just as a friend and not as a boyfriend his isn't your friend. You should tell him that the type of love you have for him will be no more then a friend love.

what do you want more to keep your friend or lose him.
if you want to keep him you could go out with him
but if you don't than talk to him seriously
find out why everything is falling down hill because you don't feel the same.
I'd say talk to him losing a best friend is tough and it sucks.
find out the problem and fix it_
