Well I'm a lesbian and to me the simpler the better. I don't need to go on a fancy expensive date to feel romantic. I love dimming the lights at night, and lighting candles all over the house. Turning on some soft music such as Norah Jones, Jewel, India Arie ect....Then I love to run a hot bubble bath for my girlfriend and I.....and we bring wine glasses and cheese in the bathroom....its great...we wash each other.....and talk...thats the key to a great relationship....communication.......then we like to light a black light in my bedroom and give body massages.....ect.....we even enjoy going on long walks and talking or just being quite out in nature...there is something serene and romantic in it all........sometimes I like to suprise my g/f and put pics all around the house of us...with flower petals..and make a trail to my room...and suprise her...ect...

Everything my sweetheart does is romantic from the way she kisses me, the way she holds my hand and looks at me. The way she smiles at me and the words of love she says to me. She has sent me many loving cards through the mail and given to me in person and gifts. I love the way we hold hands sitting at a table with each other and I love pulling her to the side as we are walking and kissing her. I wrote a love song and dedicated it to her and she gets really emotional everytime I play it or sing it for her. I recently bought her some flowers as she loved them. I just love making her happy and doing little things for her as she does for me too.

My sweetheart has done many romantic things for me--
some are:
*Pulling me aside as we are walking together and kissing me unexpectedly.
*Surprising me with roses when I went to visit him. ( we are long distance for now)
* Writing a love song for me --music and words ---first time he sang it to me as he played his guitar, I cried. Every time after that I well up with tears or cry -- it is so beautiful and full of his love for me.
* Sitting at a table in a restaurant, holding my hands, and gazing at me lovingly.
I am blessed with a loving, romantic, and passionate man.

romantic to me is a guy suprising you with flowers and then taking you out to dinner ( could be anywhere , nothing fancy) and then a nice walk after :)

Dinner and candle-lite,a walk in the moon-lite,fire place in winter time,cuddling on the couch watching something but paying more attention to each other:)

My husband is the best! He woke me on my b-day to breakfast in bed, cleaned the kitchen, bought me my favorite movie(watched it with me). We spent the rest of the day together and had a picnic

When your lover remembers little details about you that any non caring person would forget. Like your favorite flower, or where you used to take vacations as a child. When they try to bring you things they know you would like. Like taking you to your favorite restraunt, or sending you a link to a webpage they found that they know you would especially like.
