It's amazing that people think the Catholic Church is "the Church" that is written about in the New Testament. The Catholic Church had nothing to do with any of Christ's Apostles, since they had all died 3 Centuries before the Romans adopted a version of Christianity and changed it to fit their pagan needs. The Anti-Christ is not any single individual. Anti-Christ is anyone or anything that opposes Christ's true Gospel and doctrine. If the Papacy follows the Holy Bible, and keeps the Commandments of God, and rejects all of the pagan beliefs and traditions of men...then they will not fit the definition of anti-christ. There are plenty of good Catholics out there...according to prophecy God's true Church will come out of Babylon...they will be called out from every denomination, and even atheism and satanism...when people are touched by the Holy Spirit, and surrender to God's Will, they will be like Saul of Tarsus. Saul became Paul after he received Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. It does no one any good to point fingers at denominations...we have to look at facts and compare them to what the Bible teaches. Since the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation, both point to a World power that would persecute the remnant Church who are those that keep the commandments and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Does your local Protestant or Catholic church keep all of the 10 Commandments. The Commandments were divided into two catagories. The first four of those 10 commandments were paraphrased by Jesus Christ when He told the young rich man that we are to Love God with our whole being. The last six of those 10 were paraphrased by Him when He explained that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. Imagine if we would all live by those commandments today. Perfect rules on how to relate to our Creator, and our fellow human beings. In these last days, it is written in scripture that the beast will rise up against the remnant Church which does not have a denominational name mentioned anywhere. When a human organization tries to usurp the authority of God and force others to follow their own will, that is anti-christ. God is the author of free will. We have the authority to choose for ourselves whom we will serve. I choose to serve God...because He loved me enough to die on a tree. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Those have not changed when God wrote them on stone--it is a symbol of permanence. The New Testament did not delete any of those, simply explained it in an easier way to understand. It's not about works and living up to impossible standards. It's about doing your best to obey out of love. That won't save you, but it is evidence of who you serve. God's grace alone will save you. I am not better than the Pope, and he's not better than Me when we both come to the judgment seat on that great day. Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ is our defender and our judge.

Yes. Absolutely yes.

The founders of the papacy were and have always been High Priests of satanism. It is their strength, their power.

They are and have always been dedicated to suppressing the human spirit, to keeping the human race in chains, in eliminating the possibility that the Earth could be paradise.

The sheer perversity is that they do while speaking sweet words of love and kindness- a perverse monologue while their actions are completely opposite.

So whenever confronted for their actions (such as 1 million people systematically massacred by Catholic gangs in Rwanda) they say "look what we said".

For their part, Catholic seem unable and unwilling to admit even the smallest examples of the pure evil of the vatican, teir inconsistent policies in regards to the teachings of Jesus.

For example, since the 19th century, the Pope has claimed himself infallible- above all human law and all human beings- a God on Earth. This puts the Catholic Church the greatest heretic of its own teachings-words!

No one should be under any illusion that what the Vatican craves more than anything else is the perpetuation of chaos on this earth.

That is impossible to believe and at the same time believe in the teaching of Christ. Christ promised to be with His Church until the end of time and also promised that the "gates of hell would not prevail" against the Church. The Scriptures further state that the Church is the "bulwark and ground of the truth". These kinds of suppositions are just attempts to cause people to question the veracity of the teaching of Christ and the Church that He created to endure for all times.

Crazy Protestants may say this, but they can not deny that the last pope (John Paul II) was one of the greatest people of the 20th century. The majority of them have misconceptions about what they think the papacy is, which are why they choose to believe that popes are "evil."

You know Jesus said that the gates of Hell will not prevail over His church now if this church is not the Catholic church and cannot be the Protestant churches as they were not around at the time, what is this church? and furthermore if it is the Catholic church then would Jesus and the Holy Spirit allow satan to direct and guide it??
Please think about it before you actually blaspheme the Holy Spirit with this line of thought.

Blame game inducts all players into the hALL of shame.
Catholic(Universal) is not the same as Roman Catholic.
"Prophecy" fails is not the same as "Prophesy" edifies.
"Grace" is not the same as the two "law"s in Mt 22: 36-40.
More Excellent: neither broadmindead nor narrowmindead.

Only thing that's absolutely true is: "Grace is sufficient".

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

No, it isn't true. The anti-christ will not be a Pope, in my humble opinion.

There have been anti-popes, however, Pope Pius X was not one of them. I don't think that JPII was either, nor JP I. Next one will be Peter II. He will be the last one, but he will feed the sheep of Christ.

No.

John 21:15-17 states:

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."

He then said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."

He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." (Jesus) said to him, "Feed my sheep.

Matthew 16:17-19 states:

Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.

The Pope is the senior pastor of 1.1 billion Catholics, the direct successor of Simon Peter.

The Pope’s main roles include teaching, sanctifying, and governing.

With love in Christ.
