Temptation is not a sin. As you mentioned, even Jesus, Himself was tempted.
The point is, you know that homosexual relationships are a no-no. Therefore, you have chosen not to act on your tempting urges.
I am sure it is difficult for you. We all have temptations we must deal with. For some, it might be difficult to get through WalMart without putting some little trinket in the pocket or purse. For that person, the temptation is just as strong as your feelings for this other woman. For others, perhaps they are tempted to cheat on their spouse. Perhaps a man who has been married for years sees a lovely woman and is attracted to her...or a married woman is attracted to another man. For these people, their temptation is strong, and difficult to deal with.
There are as many ways for Satan to tempt us as there are people in the world, I'm afraid....
God has promised that He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to endure, and that He will provide a way for you to deal with the temptation.
When I experience strong temptation, I pray. That has gotten me past many a difficult situation. I am not perfect...but God is working on me!
He is working on you, too. I will pray for you, and I hope you will also pray. May God bless you!!

IF beinG temPTed were a SIN, that wouLD make Christ a SinnER. It's IF ONLY you give IN To Temptation that makes it a SIN. NOW, there is ONE thinG to admiRE someone of the opposite SEX's beauty, but it's totallY another when you have a PHYSICAL attraction. It's NOT OKay, especially in a case of LUST to where a man is physically attracted to someone becuZ we all knows what they will eventually lead to. The BibLe also says that a man who looks lustfully upon a woman has already committed adultery in his heart (can't remember where that is...sorry... :'0() BUT...I feel that also applies to a woman and a man. OR a man and man and a woman and woman. SO it kinda is a sin because your thinking about that person in a sexual way...which causes it by being attracted to that person because of their looks. SO therefore it's really not love it, it is lust or eros. But agape love looks past a persons physically appearance and loves that person unconditionally. BuT the question is what is what is your ReaL motive.?. Is it that deep down inside you desire to be with that person like that or are you just admiring God's creation.?. When you find out what it is, than you can determine whether or not if it's a sin.
DID that help some.?.

I think you need more help than you are going to get here on Yahoo Answers. You obviously care what is right and wrong or you wouldn't be asking, nor would you have specified "real Christians only." Talk to someone you can trust that can counsel you on this -- there are so many views out there and you don't want to be led in the wrong direction at this vulnerable time.
But to answer your question ... being tempted isn't a sin. Yes, Jesus was tempted. We are all tempted. Some of us struggle with different temptations than others because of our experiences, our families, our physical characteristics. Some people struggle with gluttony, eating like pigs. Some struggle with adultery. Is it right to give in to any of those things just because it "makes you happy?" NO!! But it's not a sin to be tempted by them. It IS a sin once you start dwelling on those thoughts and it will lead to the physical act if you don't nip it in the bud.
There are a lot of people out there that will tell you to do what you want, that homosexuality is OK, but being a Christian means you care what God thinks, not what the world thinks.

To love someone is not a sin. To lust after someone (homo or hetero) is a sin. Now you're feelings towards this other girl obviously go against the whole man shall cleave unto his wife and they shall become one flesh bit. Seeing as how niether of you is a man. Just my thoughts though.
You are given choices and trials. It's up to you to make a choice on how to deal with each trial. I see this as a trial that will either lead you to live God's law or not to.
Either way i don't think it makes you a bad person. That's why we have Christ's atoning sacrifice... to repent and be forgiven if you're truly sorry.

I see your point and this is how I see it. There is nothing wrong with falling in love or feeling love. When the human mind commands the love situation (and God is rejected to be the guide of our actions) and deceives us into thinking that love must be physical, that is where loving the same sex (physical love) is wrong and is a sin. If God made flesh, then serving flesh would be blessed, but it is not so, and the STDs are proof that God does not sustain immoral sexual acts. God does bless the love and touching of a man and woman when they do things "by the book" (God's way).
So, we all must learn more of God to understand how we can live in peace, happiness, and safety forever.

give and: The sin is not in the looking but in the lusting taking root and leading to action (acting on). There are a lot of beautiful things in this world including beautiful women and men. God made it that way by creating the genes to come together to facilitate the necessary blending to achieve this. The "gay couple" issue is simply lust taking its toll and lust can also, destroy a marriage between a heterosexual couple too (cheating). All in all, lust is not the way to go, but like any sin , that will make this world a less better place to live in, God hates to see His creation unhappy because of sin - that is because He loves ALL humans. God loves gays too and likes to see them happy.

Sin is a choice and not to sin is a choice . We have been trained for so long to sin and except it that a lot of times our old self comes out first , then we repent of that sin . Its like when David prayed for forgiveness to God and talked to God about the sins that are hidden from Him , that God would forgive them as well even though he did not know all of His sins but knew that there must be more . We are being sanctified in this way as God reveals our sins to us but not all at once . Just some thoughts there , amen...

Being tempted is not a sin. We are all tempted in some manner. When you sin as a result of that temptation, that what gets us in trouble, and thats why Jesus had to go to the cross for us.

Being tempted to sin is not sin. Succumbing to its allure in defiance of God's word is. It's like saying that a poisonous snake isn't poisonous unless you get close enough to it to be bitten.
