It points the other way, but I agree it's unwise. Still, in actual fact it is the Falun Gong who are persecuted in China, even having organs harvested from live followers by the Chinese government.
The Jains on the other hand can handle it I feel - they're extremely non-violent, even not eating root vegetables for fear of harming the plants.
Basically it's an old symbol going back millenia that the Nazis hijacked - we've got to look beyond surface appearances in all of this.

I don't know who the falun gong are but the swastika is of course an eastern sign for good luck. The Nazis did reverse it and use it as their sign but it was them who were the villains not the sign
