for some people it can be a catalyst for gaining weight. I used thehelp of a nutrition guy after I had put on 20 pounds and could not shift the extra weight. he got me on some products were ok to use with my lexapro and I lost the 20 pounds in about eight or nine weeks. Try www.myhealthabc.com and ask the nutritionist guy there, he helped me lots and i am sur ehe can do the same for you. Good luck

I've been on lexapro for 3 weeks and have lost weight. It makes me not want to eat and when I try to food just doesn't taste good. Hey, I'm not complaining though.

I've been on it for about 6 months and I lost around 10 lbs. I decided it must be because I'm more active because I'm less depressed and I leave the house more.
