Never before have I really noticed that that there were two distinct Spirits in the Bible.. The Spirit of God and the spirit in man. That when we are saved that the Lord does not come into our hearts right away.. but He comes into our spirit first and from there makes home in our hearts through faith. " He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit" ONE SPIRIT? Two becoming one? A mingled spirit? I find this facinating.

One more thing.. before I forget.
In 1Cor 15 45b... we see that" The Last Adam ( Christ) became a Life Giving Spirit ( capital S)
In most bibles ... save maybe the recovery version, they have the " Spirit' in a common " s" " spirit" ...
This seems like a real error in translation. Saying that Christ as the Last Adam, in resurrection became a life giving spirit ( human spirit) and not capital " S" for Spirit denoting the Spirit of God.
check your bible.. see if its this way.

There is the human spirit and there is the Holy Spirit of God:
"For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,"
Romans 8:15-16

Hello lets get some bible terms down, first in Gen 2:7 God breathed into the Breath of Life, or spirit [Job 27:3] also breath of life also the spirit of God [small s] is used in Job:33:4, but it speaks of breath as in 27:3, also note in Genesis 2:7 man BECAME a living soul, a soul is not something that God pokes in you. Now, The Holy Spirit is a proper name but when that Holy Spirit becomes within a person, that Spirit as it says in Eze. 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
that new spirit small s is that new heart a new mind set, set toward God and not towards death and satan, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org email me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

God [is] a Spirit (not a Ghost).

Believe not every spirit,
but try(test, compare) the spirits,
(allegory for spirits: grace and law)
for one of twain is false (spirit of err).

We all are (being) chanGed, as by the Spirit.
The Lord is now "that Spirit" of this/that Spirits.

It's all about law -vs- grace, no matter how allegorized.
With all thy getting, get it: understanding = grace glory.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
