Please read the following, taken right out of your owners manual : {Instrument Cluster chapter pg 16
"Master vehicle electrical hazard
warning lamp: Indicates Hybrid
component fault/failure that will
cause the vehicle to shutdown or
fail to start.
Note: If the vehicle is still running, the vehicle may soon
shutdown without further warning and should be stopped safely.
If this lamp is lit, stop the vehicle, shift to P (Park), turn the key to the
Off position, and attempt to restart the vehicle. If the fault remains, the
vehicle may require refueling, jump starting, resetting of the shut-off
switches, or service. For information regarding Low voltage
[underhood] battery only) and Fuel pump/High voltage shut-off
switches please refer to the Roadside Emergencies chapter"

As Ethol says.. This is the ultimate warning if you will on the hybrid vehicle.
Basically the computer has seen something that can cause possible harm or do more destruction and wants you to stop the vehicle to have it safely brought in to the shop to see what's wrong with it.
Unfortuneately , with Hybrid vehicles, there are going to be growing pains and people who will be mad when their vehicles will leave them on the road with little warning like this.

New one on me. Haven't messed with the hybrids, it could be a problem with low voltage in the batteries or the engine didn't start to charge the batteries.
Call the Ford dealer and have them look at it. It is under warranty, I would think unless you have too many miles on it.
