Favorite driver of the Modern Era is hands down Jeff Gordon. He has 4 championships, 78 wins, and 60 something poles and has won 3 COT races this season and Hendrick has totally dominated the COT races by sweeping them all together. Favorite driver of all time would have to be the King Richard Petty. I think that he is the greatest because he raced for such a long time he is known by everyone and he has the most wins and championships out of any driver ever. He tops the charts in career starts and everything and he raced in a completely different era and the guys raced like 60 some races a year and they worked on their own cars a lot more and only had one car and if it got wrecked they had to fix it themselves and they raced for hardly any money. He is probably the best driver out there and he is one of the greatest drivers of all times who built this sport practically from the ground up to make it what it is today.
