How does He make the stars of light to shine in the darkness of the night sky without driving away the darkness?

For the simple reason that God did NOT CREATE the SUN on the FOURTH day! On the fourth day, the Sun, Moon and Stars became clearly VISIBLE AGAIN! the Sun had been created many millennia before the earth. See Job 38.
Don't be caught up in the 'Young-earth' hypothetical non-science! Take a look at this I've pasted here:
Young-Earth (View) ----- Doctrine What the Bible(Really) says:
The traditional interpretation of the church is that creation days are 24 hours long False, this is a recent interpretation of Genesis. Nearly all of the early church fathers believed that creation days were longer than 24 hours. If fact, most believed that creation days were 1,000 years long...
The Sun was created on the 4th day The entire universe was created on or before the first day and sunlight was upon the earth before the end of the first day. How could there be day and night on the Earth if it were not rotating on its axis?
You NEED good science to interpret the BIBLE correctly! And more importantly, you NEED good Bible translations and interpretations to interpret the fossil record(science) correctly!!!! Remember an eternal, infinite God has ALL the TIME in the UNIVERSE to take to CREATE His Universe!!! So don't be like some who want to put God into a 6000 - 10,000 year 'Time Capsule'!!!

Q1. God is light so he can make light and darkness with himself
Q2. Just because the plants were created a day before doesn't mean they can't live without the sun for 1 day, and don't you think god would have put an atmosphere on earth when he made it?
Q3. The Fossil Record shows what happened to the bones after the flood, what I mean is that during the flood everything got shook up, here take a bottle of water put dirt in it, it'll settle into layers, so it settle into layers of rock and fossils.

There is science and true. And science is not always true. Some scientists say global warming is artificial.
God separated the day from the night, it mean sun and night were there. And He separated them. A sun and night God created.
And another thing. Some threes can rise without sun. For example those under the sea.
Fossil? Some human don't want to recognize that there is someone more powerful that we are, GOD.
How old is the earth? You would say billions of year, I would say 6 thousand years. "What about the fossils?" What about the inundation that happen in the time of Noah, it could cause fossil to look older than they really are, it added those millions of year.
¿If you don't believe in God, why do you question Him? And if some people say God is imaginary, why do people don't forget about Him? Because He is real.

On the first three days; "There was light; which was some bright and lucid body, peradventure like the fiery cloud in the wilderness, giving a small and imperfect light, successively moving over the several parts of the earth; and afterwards condensed, increased, perfected, and gathered together in the sun." [Poole]
The fossil record has been interpreted wrongly. Most of the fossil record was caused by Noah's flood, in a short period of time.

It was light and darkness that was separated the first three. Isn't that intresting, not light and day. It is my personal belief that that was talking about the separation between good and evil. And do you really think that plants need the sun when the Lord is there Gardener. I have heard it said that Heveanly Father and Jesus emit a light so brilliant that people feared the leafs of the trees would catch fire. God was the light that helped the first plants grow. The sun was there so that he could rest on the 7th day.

1) There are other lights beside the sun.
2) If God could create the entire universe ex nihilo, I would think He could find a way to keep plants alive (perhaps by using some other light) without the the sun for a day.
3) The fossil evidence is a far bigger embarrassment for the Theory of Evolution (think Cambrian explosion, lack of undeniable missing links) than it ever has been for creationists.

The Lord God can do all things these mediums that you speak of and the replies that have been left are not excuses! the Lord can speak without air it is humans who need air to speak! you will never truly understand because God has ways higher than yours and He thinks higher than you! don't let scientific tools and humans fool or confuse you about the greatness of God! God is light so the flowers and plant would do just fine without the sun!

I just asked this question a few weeks ago. Search for questions like it, and you'll find several with some great answers. As for the fossil record, that's disputable, and there's the issue of the Flood to consider. I'm unfortunately not an expert on ancient-earth geology and fossil records.

You are assuming that the Sun is the only light. And you are assuming that He created the sun on the fourth day. It does not say that. And that we are talking about 24 hour days. You are trying to mix science in with creation. And fossil records are all the product on man's interpretation.
Nice try
