Would you behave yourself when I started explaining to you how Jesus is the Son of God?

As a Catholic, would I be welcome in yours?

I would hope that we could extend each other some common courtesy and Respect.

Actually, your religion is beautiful. It is a wonderful way to worship. More constant than any other I've encountered, but then I'm not an expert.

I do have issues with the way that your Holy Koran is interpreted though. And this may be the whole thing: Insurgents believe they have the right, as commanded by God. The rest of us really believe that if we try we can have Peace on Earth. One philosophy for bloodshed, the other against. People hoping and working for peace forced to war by a people in judgement. Somehow, I just don't see how such pain and sorrow could be the wish of God, who created us, and this world.

Very often I see God as a greiving parent. His beautiful and precious children so misled. The heart of God must want so much for us. How is this hard to understand?

Well, do you subscribe to the following?

Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, The Supreme Leader of Iran, the Shia Grand Ayatollah, 1979-89 said in his official statements:

A woman who has contracted a continuing marriage does not have the right to go out of the house without her husband's permission; she must remain at his disposal for the fulfilment of any one of his desires, and may not refuse herself to him except for a religiously valid reason. If she is totally submissive to him, the husband must provide her with her food, clothing, and lodging, whether or not he has the means to do so. A woman who refuses herself to her husband is guilty, and may not demand from him food, clothing, lodging, or any later sexual relations; however, she retains the right to be paid damages if she is repudiated.

If a father (or paternal grandfather) marries off his daughter (or granddaughter) in her absence without knowing for a certainty that she is alive, the marriage becomes null and void as soon as it is established that she was dead at the time of the marriage.

I don't mind if a Muslim came into my house but if they wanted to debate about their religion and my thoughts of Islam they would probably feel very uncomfortable as I very much doubt a Muslim and I would get on well. I'm not a big Islam-fan.

Not unless I can trust you enough - if you're from India it would be easier for us to get along. If Pakistan, generally No but I don't discriminate as individuals are different.

Also, when you're in my home don't push your beliefs into me or my family - keep 'em with you.

After I frisk you for bombs and weapons, sure.

Like the Elementary schools I have a metal detector at my doorway.

It won't bother you if I smoke, drink some wine or beer and have a ham sandwich, will you? I can dig you up some rice and veggies and purified water.

Afterall, I do the same when Jehovah's witnesses come into my house!

Just as a Muslim? Like as in, if I knew you, or something, and I had a party going on, and you showed up?

That depends on your personality. I don't judge people on their religion.

Yes, absolutely. I am Muslim now, but before I learned about Islam I still accepted all people. That is somthing my mother taught me. She opens her home and her heart to all people, and that is something I love about her. Her open-mindedness is a gift and one I am happy to also be blessed with.

I don't know you... why would I let you in my house?
In this day and age you can't even trust your own eyes... let alone a stranger... and this doesn't have anything to do with you being a Muslim...

As a Christian, I have already been told that I am not a welcome guest in yours.
I'm sure you would be uncomfortable in mine, since I have many symbols of my faith all over my house...even in my bathroom.
But, if you want to learn more about Christianity, come on over...

Simple answer - yes you would.
The only people who are unwelcome in my house are those I do not like. Your religious beliefs are your own and would have no bearing on that.
