hey i am 12 and very active with sports and my friends.i loooove texting and talking on teh phone and i need a phone that will not break and has a long battery life(for boring family trips) and also i was either thinking the pink razor phone or the strawberry chocolate phone.which is better??? and it would b lots of help if u could list the reasons y

Pink Razr. I think the chocolate phones are too small.

I'm 12 also and I'm also thinking about getting a new phone. Unfortunately, neither of my parents have a cell phone, so mine has to be prepaid. I used to really want a Motorola RAZR, but then I decided I hated it because in your hand it looks big. I would recommend the Chocolate LG:
Standby time (razr) : 325 hrs
Chocolate LG: 384 hrs.
Usage time (razr) : 200 minutes
Chocolate LG: 210 minutes
Battery (Razr) : 780 Minutes an hour
Chocolate LG : 800 mAH

I happen to have a friend who owns a Razr and a friend who owns a Chocolate. If you don't want a phone that breaks easily, the Razr is OUT. The friend who has the Razr is always having to buy new ones because his always keeps breaking. I'm not sure if the Chocolate would be good for texting, though, because it comes from Verizon and my other friend is anti-text because she says they charge her an arm and a leg for each text message (I have T-Mobile, so I wouldn't know). Besides that, though, I would say that the Chocolate is better than the Razr because the Razr is an all-around crappy phone, sorry to say.

I had a razor for like a month and then got a new phone. the razor glitches and restarted on me a lot. I did not drop it or anything. It also made a buzzing noise even when you did not use your phone. my moms and brothers did the same thing. But that was my experience with the razor. you may get a better one then me. So i say go with the chocolate.

they both suck...i buy cell phones on regular bases and the razor battery lasts long but i just dont think its really good so i gave it to my mom...the chocolate will get sooo annoying...i have a samsung slide phone right now and it is very good and samsungs usually dont break i am the most satisfied with samsung and the one i have is soo hott and i would keep it except i need to get a blackberry for college next year so dont get a chocolate or a razr u can do better

i would reccomend the pink razor because the strawberry chocolate cell phone is a little difficult to use. this is because the buttons are really strange. i think (if your parents will take you) you should go to a cell phone store and check out all of the different types. but, i still deffinetly recomend the pink razor. it's stylish and a great phone in my opinion.

neither phone has a particularly good reputation for durability, quality of manufacture, or length of battery life.
Sprint's Katana phone,made by Sanyo, has all the elements you mentioned.
wait a month, and Sanyo's Katana II will be on the market.
