144 years with that timeline. The 19th Amendment was passed in 1920, giving women the right to vote.

In 1893 Colorado was the first state to grant women (via amendment) the right to vote. The Govt. issued the rights, not Christians.

Followed by Utah & Idaho in 1896, Wash.State.in 1910 and Calif. in 1911. Other states followed. The amendment was ratified in 1920.

The Christians did not give anyone the right to vote. If you check your history real close you'll find that most men could not vote either.

I don't think christians have that power in America. There is a separation of church and state or should I say there used to be one some years ago.

not sure but we still cant be elders or serve communion at my church and never be allowed to be a pastor! but i can go to youth group and look cute and ask a lot of annoying questions! :) lol and i cant vote for another 10 months so who cares lol
