I ran out of dog food and I can't go to the grocery store until late tonight so what could I give my dog for now?

How old is your dog? If s/he's a puppy, you can try some boiled chicken and rice. A fully grown dog, you could grill or bake some chicken and give her/him some of that. Just be careful about spices and sauces - they can cause lots of problems with their systems. I'm sure your dog would also love a good hamburger! But, as I said, if his system isn't used to it, you should probably expect he'll have diarrhea later or a loose stool at the very least.

Good luck!

Dogs can handle some people food. Make scrambled eggs and brown rice. They like veggies and fruit....you can try apples, pears, small yogurt amount and green beans or any veggie almost (kale, spinach, etc.) in the blender...
Lots of dogs eat leftovers from the table. Got any meat and potatos? Remeber they didn't have processed kibble 50-60 years ago!

I've given my dog rice. They can eat that. You can pour a bit of gravy over it. No spices, even salt. No onions, chocolate, or potatos. Other human food will be fine.

Peanut butter, cheese, meat, bread, etc. However, be careful if you upset his tummy you will regret very much not going to the store.

If it was my dog - anything! Personally, I would not give anything too processed or salty, eg pizza or sauces,. Potatoes, skins and all, go down well. So do rice or pasta. If you have a bit of meat or chicken, throw that in too. Don't worry about blandness!

the dog will be fine if it goes for a couple hours without food. but if you really wanna feed it, try cottage cheese or lunch meats or something. it wont hurt them and they'd probably really enjoy it.

A spoon full of peanut butter. He'll be fine. It's only a couple of hours. It's not like he's gonna die from starvation. :)
