Well, though my Mom was a Christian, she didn't really give religious advice. She did however, have a little thing she would always say when we kids were under stress or going through a difficult time. She would say "it will all work out" or "it will all do". I have always applied that to my life and believe with every fiber of my being that throughout any circumstance, God will be there with me and it WILL all work out and "do". It is this faith that has sustained me during many difficult times.

If it were not for her children (all 8 of us) my mother would never have become a Christian. So the theory that a person has religion force upon them by their parent does not fly in my case.

Never ever criticize lest you be the one criticism is poked at.
Never gossip about someone. You don't know the trials and toils they had in life to what they have reached which is now.
Always pray for family, healthy, happiness, and spiritual protection. #1 because who else will?

Give Yourself to love the Lord... He is the source of Love and will take care of all the other loves in your life.. be it as a wife.. mother.. sister.. friend... cousin... grand daughter...aunt...etc.
Every other love will and can loose its shine, but His love is ever so fresh and new.... Keep close to our Lord Jesus... Take care of whats on His heart and He will take care of whats on yours.

My mom said the ONLY regret she had when she was raising me and my sisters, is, that she and my father didn't attend church with us. They took us every Sunday, but did not go themselves. So when I had my son, I was there with him. God bless U

The best religious advice my mother has given me, if I can believe whatever I want! If I want to believe in 'God' I can. If I choose not to, its ok. And honestly, I choose not to believe.
