I don't think anyone has ever considered that, you should make a movie about it! You should have Al pacino play the Devil who is also a big time lawyer in New York. You can call it... the Devils Advocate!

in the framework of a supposedly monotheistic system, that still doesn't excuse a supposedly all-powerful god. If such a "devil" is out and about causing mischief, that being is doing so with the full blessings of the all-powerful god who has the power to curtail such deeds.
If this god does not have that power - or chooses not to use it (further empowering this "devil"), then this is no longer a monotheistic system - it is duotheistic, and its adherants have given up on a single "one true god."

As God is everything, GOD is also part of the DEVIL.
In the film "The Devil's Advocate", Al Pacino was GOD, not the Devil - He got Kevin (Keanu Reeves) to do the right thing.

when have you seen an army of devil worshipers marching to war?
maybe the Devil was rebellious to god, because he saw god as a tyrant that needed disposed of.

i dont think hes a monstrous demon .. and i dont think hes all powerful either ... hes just really good at decieving people ... people do the dirty work after that ..
