One who understands this distinction between the Supersoul(God) and the individual soul(us, living entities) is in knowledge, above lamentation and is in a peaceful position. When the smaller soul thinks himself quantitatively as big as the larger soul,God, he is under the spell of mäyä(illusion), for that is not his constitutional position. No one can become the greater soul simply by mental speculation. The light is the effulgent from the body of the Lord, and there is not relationship with the Lord in there. But the devotee of the Lord they are perfectly aware of the fact that every living entity is constitutionally an eternal subordinate servitor of the Lord, and therefore he transcend the light and enter into the kingdom of God, and have an intimate association with the Lord in His eternal pastimes and activities.

That's what Osho used to say. We come from light and towards light we go.
The Bible also talks about it:
3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
1 John 1
5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

That's pretty much what the Gnostics say. That we all contain a divine spark which through 'gnosis' allows us to return to 'The One'.
"The perfect Savior said: ... 'But I came from the places above by the will of the great Light ... I have awakened that drop that was sent from Sophia, that it might ... be through me ... that her sons might ... attain honour and glory and go up to their Father' "
Other faiths say likewise. This is part of the mystery, the great journey. Walk on!

If man came from the Light and wishes to return to the Light, then man must remove the darkness that lies within himself!

We will always learn. Even those cast into places of punishment will learn mostly what mistakes they have made like giving up eternity for maybe 70+ years and what pain can really be. As for you light question there is light associated with fire isn't there? So I would have to say more explanation is needed.

First of all sorry for my bad english. Well, as God says, our mortal body is just mortal and it dies, so the soul lives forever, and it's destiny is determined through your actions on Earth. If you loved as in accepted the other, and gave up the bad characters in yourself, you will be in Heaven and if you don't then you won't get to Heaven.

I don't believe we 'become one with God'... I believe we are in the presence of God .... and we will have wisdom/knowledge given but never will we attain 'Godhood'

In other words, we are all Sun-people.
The Sun sees in all directions at once and we can all learn to see from this perspective.
