I want to thank those that answered my question about being saved yesterday, and let you guys know that i have rededicated my life and am getting baptized next Sunday!!!!

I didn't see your question before, but Praise the Lord for the news you shared!! Don't worry about Wakka or anyone else. Remember that you only have to worry about what GOD thinks of you - not what anyone else thinks. If you are pleasing God, then you are doing the right thing.

Oh - you asked about when we got saved. I was 10 and I was raised in a Christian home but didn't fully understand what it was to be a Christian until age 10. I was baptized at 12. How my life changed is that I learned to trust God and to have faith that He would lead me in my life. I have had the added blessing that no matter what came my way in my life (trial or blessing), God was/is there with me, lifting me up and sharing my pain and my joy.

Congratulations, now the thing is, to bring this renewed energy of Christ to others by your actions, we have far too many who talk the word but fewer and fewer who actually show the word in action.

yes...january 1 2003. i remember the spot and who prayed with me. i wasn't a bad kid. but i knew i was missing something because i wasn't happy. when i met God, i knew he was what i wanted. he gave me the joy i was looking for.
