Need help for work, I am a meeting and events organiser for a hotel. My boss has asked me to come in tomorrow with a few ideas on how to drive the business and attract delegates to book our venue. I have a few ideas that I have gather already but I was wondering if you guys could come up with some genius ideas...So my question is if you did book a meeting room or a conference for your company, what made you pick the venue you picked, or what you attract people to book a venue or a other ? Loyalty points, free drinks at the bar? comp movies in the room? Please share your ideas !!!

Discount on bulk room bookings for the conference attendees
Sponsored an event - host a first night reception for conference participants
Business services - if the hotel does not have a 'business center' set up printer, computer, fax, phones for the participants to use (they need to stay in contact with their companies during the conference) or have wireless access hot spots
Sell the hotel amenities - allow participants to utilize the pool, spa, gym, etc., at special conference rates
Help with transportation - have access or information on local bus company, or hotel vans, for example to take participants to a local attractions (once we took around 200 particpants to the baseball field and an industry site visit during the conference)
