There is nothing wrong with it at all unless you are some kind of sex addict that can't control yourself at all. Otherwise, go with whatever is convenient for you.

Guys make the best roomates. They totally respect your space, spend hardly any time in the bathroom and will do anything for you if you feed them. They also do all the hard stuff like take out the trash, shovel the driveway and leave you the easy jobs like dusting.

I used to hate coming home and seeing my female roomates wearing my clothes, using my makeup, etc., so I moved in with a guy and it was the best. I also felt a lot safer- it was kind of like having a big brother around.

You have to be 100% sure you will never cross the line romanticallly, but other than that, I say go for it.

it is ok, if you can handle his habits and he can handle yours.

for example you would not want me or any of my friends as a room mate (when we were in college) because we were simply horrible to live near/ let along with.

think joey and chandler in the old episodes of friends, and then remove all common sense and reason...

we played beer pong with 151 proof rum and lit the ball on fire.

When you are compatible as roommates (schedule, noise, neatness, personality, and who else the two of you will be bringing in to the apartment) and you are both clear on your boundaries. If you are not sure you are both clear on those boundaries (which I am assuming is the reason you asked) then I would say stick with your comfort zone. After all, you will probably have to live with your decision for several months.

i am a college student and I had a guy roommate in my first apt....he was cool and nice.....nothing sexual...he paid his part.....then in my second apartment i had two guy roommates.....they were cool too its just one of them were really really messy.....thats the only problem I had........I really dont think anything is wrong with having a guy roomate.....just as long as you are mature enough to handle the situation go for it......plus i like having a guy roommate.....they tend to be less caddy then some of the women i know......

When the guy roommate is respectful of your space, cleans up after himself, and isn't romantically involved with you in any way. In college, boyfriends can be too distracting and co-dependent that having them in the same house/room can be just too much.

1. if he's gay.
2. if you're positive that there's no sexual attraction between the two of you and you won't mind sharing a bathroom and all the delightful smells associated with said bathroom.

Hi Carrie, I don't see anything wrong with it. As long as he pays his part of rent and the other bills i say it COOL to do so.

If you are a believer in Jesus--If I were you, I would rather ask God for the perfect female roomate to avoid being a bad witness.
