They need to start their first vacciantions at 8-9 weeks (NOT before) distemper/parvo/canine hepatits/adenovirus-2
second at 12- 14 weeks
third and final at 16 -18 weeks
rabies at 20 weeks or older

Lepto, parainfluenza, lymes and bordatella (kennel cough) is NOT recommended for all dogs only those at high risk of exposure.

Coronavirus,adenovirus-1 and giardia are NOT recommended for ANY dog ever.

Check out the AAHA site and also Dr. Jean Dodds site as well as that of Dr. Ron Schultz. Also if you can get a copy of the Whole Dog Journal November 2006 issue. It has a great article on vaccianting.

All puppies have their first booster at about 8 weeks with the second at 10 weeks. Puppy can then start to go out about 2 weeks after that.
Discuss that with your vet.

Vets are now vaccinating as young as six weeks. What ever age you get it injected (no later than 12 weeks) do not walk it outside, other than your property (or let it lick your shoes) until you do.

Different vets use different vaccines which require different regimes. Phone around your local vets and ask them.
