How do I find hidden windows in Windows XP home version?

I am trying to run my Lexmark Fax Center and when I click to open it up, it starts running but the window is hidden. I try to re-open the software thinking it didn't open the first time and it gives me an error message saying the Lexmark Fax Center is already running.

Usually that type of application opens an icon in your taskbar, by your system clock. It's open but minimized to the system tray. See if the Lexmark software has a configuration choice of showing icon in taskbar.

Its not a hidden Window, its more like a hidden 'service', many software do that, they simply run as a service in the background.
