Is their a lense for a digital camcorder that can make make a daytime scene look nighttime? If so, what is it called and where can it be purchased??

A blue filter might do it. Also cutting down the brighness in editing software or in the camera using manual settings.

the trick used in motion pictures is called shooting day for night. you need to use a dark blue filter, assuming the lens will accept filters, otherwise use some blue cellophane from the crafts store. also it will help to manually turn the exposure down if possible, so the image is a little darker. to be more convincing you need to have car lights, street lights and window lights to add to the 'night' effect. it also helps to shoot in deep shade as harsh shadows are distracting.
