No, many people have teachers as mentors and wish them to be around for the celebrations of success that the teacher helped to come about.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to invite your teachers to your grad part; I certainly did with mine. Especially because I was from a small school, everyone was really close. My principal even came around to all of them and made sure to say hello. I wouldn't think twice about sending a few of your favorite teachers an invite! Chances are pretty good they'll bring a card with some cash, too!

No, not at all. I graduated from a small school and the teachers were always invited to the grad parties. Many of our teachers became mentors or even friends after spending so much time with them in a small setting. (to give you a better of what I mean by "small", my graduating class was 35 kids.)

Definitely not weird. High School teachers get invites like this all the time.

Not at all....
I had teachers, co-workers, adult bosses, and other "inappropriate" guests at my grad party.
I don't know where some of you live, but where I grew up, teachers who liked you get upset if you don't invite them.
People need to lighten up, seriously...It's not like you're sleeping with them.

That would be highly inappropriate, and should not accept such an invitation.
