40 and single............?

i'm 41 in a few weeks, and single. but i look a lot younger, so when i look for a girl friend my own age, they all look a lot older than they are...and i feel to old to date girls in there early 30's what do i do....

I wouldn't worry too much about it. You have something a lot of 41 year olds would envy, you look a lot younger. In which case, you would probably get a lot of attention from quality girls in their 30s.

Just go for it and enjoy it. As you get older, age gap matters less and less. It may have mattered to you about 15 years ago, but as you get older, maturity levels tend to even themselves out. So if you date a girl in her 30s, you may find she has the same ways of thinking and living as a lady in her 40s. There is nothing to feel guilty about.

Just open yourself up, behonest, be yourself and let the dates come to you.

a girl in their thirties would suit you fine,your at the age where your very desireable,to a younger woman,over 10 yrs younger,i think is a bit young, lots of people say age does,nt matter if you really like or love someone,i don,t agree,i think of the years ahead,you,llbe 55 lets say and she could be 35-40,you,ve lived it up and she,s wanting to do the things that women of that age need to do,at the other end of age lets say a woman of 46-47yrs can still do a lot of things that you may like to do too,but also likes to relax,and know how to really treat her man they have more thoughtfulness towards the man.don,t set your standards too high,you could end up on your own,if you do meet someone,the best thing to do is talk about yourselves to each other and see if you have much in common,it,s a start. You don't have to date someone around your age. For example, I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 37. We see absulotely no problem with the age difference, we're both into the same things and I'm glad I made the choice to date him instead of the youngsters these days, who by the way have NO IDEA what they're doing during sex.

Hey you, not all girls look their age at 40! - I am one of them (I have been told! lol). Just get out there and enjoy yourself - girls in their 30's and your own age are fine I would say. You are putting up barriers too soon. If you like them and they like you - there is no problem!.

Date younger. My bf is 15 years my senior. So I guess you could say i'm a trophy wifey, but he doesn't look 40, he looks like maybe 33. If you look younger, its not like people will be checking your id or anything. go for it.
