Well, I believe I do. However, some people are not even certain of the reality of their own existence. If they can have doubts in the face of such tangible evidence, how would they be able to recognise the intangible evidences of the existence of God?

The question of the existence of God (and humans) is answered by individuals according to their AWARENESS of the evidence, not by the actual evidence itself. The evidence stays the same, regardless of what we think about it.

I do exist, but in the form of a wave in the ocean. If you go thru my profile you will know what it would mean from my angle.

The waves prop up and vanish, so a wave's attachment and commitment to a fellow wave is an act of hypocricy. Your feeling about me is OK, provided only, if you are also aware in practical sense, that the disappearance of either of us, is the end of our short story.

Having put the rather harsh truth (in a pessimistic style?), I will like to add that all the waves come from the ocean and we are there always with the ocean. That's what we have to realise.

We need to perform our duties to our family, friends and society while always, and constantly being conscious of our real self, which is eternal, and which is soul.

Like a nurse performs in a post natal child care, with only dutybound attachment to the baby, in the same way, we are expected to have our worldly attachments with the sole intention of carrying out our duties only. We should be aware that our children are as eternal as our ownselves, and in actual sense of the term, we are not senior to them in our spiritual age.

Tough questions will have tough answers only.

Ha! Any entities existence is non reliant upon the belief of any other entity in order to exist in reality. The existence of reality and a beings existence are all that is required.

Belief is simply hope without proof. It is a selfish concept, concerned with rewards and punishments, and temporal support for human fears and worries. As you have NEVER done anything provable, you exist only in the imagination.

moot point. Your belief or non belief in me is not what makes me exist. I don't exist to you simpley because you do not know me, but to others I do. And to I as well

I'm not a character in ancient Middle Eastern fiction, so there's no real reason to doubt me.

I'm very certain that in fact I do
but do you?
does your belief in me require a belief in you in return?
