I feel like doing something funky with my hair...like putting a pink streak in it or something. That is just my personality. Should I get something like this done or just slip into the role of "motherhood" and start being more "proper"?

Oh come on!!!! You're ONLY 30! I'm way younger than you, but I'm sure that 30 years and being a mother is not a limit!!! You should really do something funky, crazy or anything you want with your hair! You can be proper when you'll be a grandma! Now just be happy with your child and do change your hair in other way ;) Don't think that if you're not a teenager you have to be 'proper' or strict. ENJOY LIFE!! ;)

sure, do what u want!!! i`m always doing crazy things with my hair & i`m almost 40!!! who wants to be boring & safe??? the more outrageous my look, the better i like it!!! but, i`ve been this way all my life, it`s not something i just started doing...right now, my hair is about 1/2" long all over, except for my extremely long bangs, which are hot pink!!! i luv it!!! but it goes with my style of dress & personality, so it doesn`t seem out of the ordinary for me...my friends all know to expect the unexpected from me!!! the highest compliment someone can give me is "u have an original look" or "that really looks unique"!!!

Who says you can't be a "funky mother"..you don't have to do what is considered proper in the eyes of society, it's your life in the end. I highly recommend you style your hair to show off your personality.

30 isn't very old. Just think about it, its only one year older than 29. If you want to do something funky with your hair, go ahead. Don't do something totally crazy that you'll regret later though, maybe a semi- perminent if you dye it.

You should do whatever you want
be unique
dont fit in with all the moms..........be who you are
dont mind those people that will jjudge you do what you want!
I think you should have blue hair! lol
