For the past 9 years I've had sexual relations with my cousin. She and I started with when we were about 15 and have continued it and still are. Is it wrong if we're having sex just for the sake of enjoyment even if we're cousins? Also this is only when neither one of us is in a relationship.

Yes and no.
It's not wrong in that you are just pleasing each other. It use to be quite common for cousins to marry and in some cultures it still is (not first cousins). However it is wrong for many reasons. It's frowned upon in society, therefore when you get caught (and you will sooner or later) there will be tremendous amounts of scorn by your families. Second it is dangerous as that is how babies are made no matter how careful you are. And last, it's isn't a healthy relationship and is keeping you from one.
Stop it before someone gets hurt, and many people can not just the two of you.

That depends on how close of cousins you are. If you two are second cousins or more distant than that, I don't see a problem with that as it is very common in many parts of the world. If you are first cousins, I would recommend you stop doing that because in some states, that kind of activity is considered incestuous. I don't know what is in your state. Look, if you're first cousins, you should stop doing that. That kind of relationship is just too close. If you're more distant than that like second, third, or fourth cousins, you can get away with that more easily.

My personal opinion is that 1st cousins are too close to have a phisical thing,but some people feel differently,so I'm not gonna judge.A 'just when we're single' relationship is,I'm coming more and more to believe,the best kind to have.Just one thing:under NO circumstances should you have children.The risk for genetic clusterf**ks is WAY high.Beyond that,I guess you two arent hurting anyone,so live your' life,you only get one.

okay first of all, that is on so many levels WRONG.
Find someone you aren't related too and have that kind of relationship with them. Having sex with your cousin, sounds disgusting, and is disgusting.
What if she got pregnant and you had like some deformed, incest alien baby?

Uh. Is it your first cousin, or like 5th cousin. I think it is kinda weird if its like your first cousin, plus even though your genes are a bit different you still run the risk of genetic disorders if she was ever to get pregnant. I think you both should seek sexual relationships elsewhere.

It would make family matters very complicated. What if she got pregnant, would you tell your family? It would lead to problems with the family. Not to mention the chances for defects in the child would be about 20 times greater than someone outside the family. But to each their own. If you are both happy doing it, then keep doing it. I just think its not very wise.

Your life is your business, as long as its not hurting anyone. I hope your using protection. However, if you've been doing this for 9 years, it may be holding you back from having a more appropriate relationship. You may want to distance yourself before it prevents you from having something more meaningfull.
