I am 16 and I am going to start Jenny Craig in a few days. It looks like a pretty good program. Does it really work? How long does it take to see results? Does there food taste good? I heard it was better then nutrisystem.

Jenny craig is a great program if you dont have the time and energy to plan out your meals or cook. It is prepackaged and ready to heat. The food doesnt taste bad. The goal is a weight loss of about 1-2lbs per week. The heavier you are the more you will start to lose. Try to be patient. It may take a while before you see results. Stick to it. One mornng you'll wake up and realize what a difference it has made.

I did the Jenny Craig programme. At first the food tasted great and the consultant seemed really interested in me. I did learn a lot about good food nutrition, not from the consultant but from the screeds of information you get to read.

The food is mostly frozen - the few unfrozen choices are not the best tasting. After eating the same things over and over, it all begins to taste like crap and you start thinking of nothing but food. Also all meals require that you add to them by making a salad or whatever, so it doesn't really mean you don' t have to cook or shop anymore.

After a few months and losing a reasonable amount for that time (5kg), I moved to another city. My new consultant really did nothing for me other than weighing me each week. My weight seesawed and all she said to me was you are doing great. After a while I began to realise that Jenny Craig is just a supermarket with expensive crap food sold to you by a personal consultant.

I paid for lifetime membership, but I suspect that like other people who have tried and failed with JC, I won't be needing a lifetime membership. Waste of money.

well no offense but dog crap would taste better than nutrisystem. My sister went on Jenny Craig and she said it does work, but she didn't like the food and it was expensive. The upside to it is I think they teach you portion control and nutrition along with their program so once you learn the basics you can go off their food and use your own-less expensive.

it take about 2-3 weeks to see the results. The food does not taste good but it is worth it to give it a try.

I started a few days ago. Compared to other frozen diet foods the food tastes great. I have no complaints with the program and I havent felt hungry at all.

If you are going to try to loose weight just don't do it with a pill. It is cheating. Taking drugs is just a lazy way to get out of actually exercising and eating right. Weight loss pills are just someones idea of cheating your body. For God's sake you stupid person you don't need someone to tell you what is good food or not to buy. Just exercises and read nutrition labels before you eat anything. And whatever you do eat, it small amounts of it, especially with junk food.
