I have a 4 year old daughter and if I even go in the garden she is calling after me. They say madeleine may have opened the door and wandered off, she wouldnt have done it quietly. She would have been calling mum and dad, or crying. Especially in the night. Kids dont like the dark, Im nervous at night imagine a child on the street. I think quite a few people heard her 10pm at night is not bedtime for adults. People go partying, dinner. I think more than one person has seen her. Someone heard her crying or calling. Do you think she is still alive it reminds me of the Jessica and Holly and the ben needham and the countless of kids in america never found.

On Sky News A detective from the Uk has just come back from Portugal. He did the Jessica and Holly case. he says he strongly believes she wasnt abducted in her room. no evidence of entry. madeleines finger prints on the door and the dogs sniffed her scent to the local supermaket and then it stops. Evidence suggests she wandered off. Its what I read. A 4yr old girl all alone wandering around surely should grab every adults attention. Mine in the same shop adults always come up and say wheres your mum and Im standing right next to them

We will never get the full reports from the Portuguese police because they have a law that states that these things can only be told to a judge or lawyer. Please can everyone just get serious about this. The Sunday Times (late edition) shows the mother and father leaving church smiling and laughing this is real laughter and smiles does this have something to do with the fact that they may know where their daughter is?

I don't think it is fishy at all! The UK detective believes from evidence, that Madeleine opened the door and walked down to the local supermarket (probably looking for her parents). I think it is very naive of parents on here, saying that this couldn't possibly happen because their child would cry out and be afraid of the dark. Please remember that not all children are the same! Madeleine has been described as a confident young girl. Apparently, it is very quiet around that area at the moment because holiday season hasn't really started yet. it was described as a ghost town. therefore, it is not surprising that she wasn't seen. if some sicko had entered the room for sick reasons, surely they would have taken the twins as well. I hope and wish it was the case that she had been watched and "kidnapped to order". this would mean that there is more chance that she is being looked after somewhere. However, as much as I hate to think about it - if she did wander down to the supermarket on her own, it means that it was an opportunist abduction - leaning to a more sinister and scary outcome.

Also - to the people who say that Madeleine's parents should be prosecuted for leaving her alone, please enlighten me as to what punishment you think they deserve? what can be more of a punishment than what they are going through at the moment???? Prison? That's right! Get Madeleine back and separate her from her parents again - nice one!

I am hoping and praying that Madeleine is returned safely!!!

Firstly I would like to say that I wish Baby Madeleine a speedy and safe return and I can't even imagine what that little girl must be going through. I too have children, one 13 and one 7. Even now I would never dream of leaving my children alone in a hotel room without any supervision (especially in a foreign country) I agree with everyone else, this is all too fishy. If either of my children went missing I would be beside myself and would certainly not feel like laughing. What were the parents thinking????? What if there had been an electrical fire or the like, but instead there was an abduction. Yes, I believe the parents had left them before and they had been watched. May I be as bold as to ask who is looking after the other two children now? Unfortunately, the parents will have to live with this for the rest of their lives. My heart goes out to little Medeleine and I hope she is found soon. Also, is it just me or is the statement 'We believe Madeleine is safe, parents say...' a very strange thing to say??????? How do they know? We are the protectors of our children, these children were not protected. Nobody deserves this but under no circumstances should these children have been put in the situation that this could have happened. Sorry if you all think that is harsh but....thats the way I feel.

I do believe that she was taken, and by a man but I also think that she is with a woman now, They were watched that is quite obvious, who ever took her knew exactly where the little girl was and took her while she slept. If they had wanted a baby they had the choice of the other two. No this was a planed kidnapping and who ever it was who took her was obviously paid to do so.They watched maybe for a day or two and then when they knew that the little girl was alone she was taken. I also believe that she is still alive and is in the company of a woman and asking for her mother all the time crying etc.

Let's just hope she gets back safely.

And then both her parents should be prosecuted to the full extent of the portuguese law for child neglect.

Then, any other parent in Britain like those on this website that admit to leaving their toddlers at home while they go out should also be prosecuted before it happens again.

Apparently they didnt want to employ a babysitter because they didn't want her left with a stranger. Apparently, it didn't occur to them that they had the option of not going out because 3 years ago they made the choice of bringing a small child into the world and the responsibility that goes with it.

Since when did this behavious become acceptable? Why must it take a horrible incident like this to highlight such an obvious case of child neglect?

you know i have answered so many questions on this subject and ive only got 1 answer! none of us no, no of us can understand who would want to cause so much pain to a family? the child was conceived through ivf along with the twins! proves they were wanted and much loved unless you've gone through this then you haven't a clue NO they shouldn't of been left alone, too late the little darlings gone, banging on about who is too blame isnt going to help, how do you thing the little angels mum and dad are goin to feel if it turns out to be bad news, cos im sorry but it will, then they will have to take the guilt forever!! the dirty filthy scum that took them are too blame, and so is the law that doesn't protect them

there is aprecedent in regulation against it. A reported case the place a 'medium' chanelled informatio nfrm the lifeless replaced into disallowed in court docket. because of the fact the preparation they recieved replaced into used somewhat than certainly actual foundation on the initiating of particular factors of an examine. And a seek replaced into carried out on a premises as a consequence of the 'preparation' and thats unlawful, because it is not even sensible suspicion, not to show actual concept. So the hunt replaced into unlawful, the evidence stumbled on wasn't allowed to be supplied and the full bleeding case fell aside. and yeah plus phychics are crap

lots of people have said that she's wandered off, she was taken, she's been sold, she's been murdered, she's with a paedophile, she's living with a childless family, the list goes on and on....no one knows anything yet... they are only going by what litle evidence they have so far, like the open hatch and the (alleged) sighting by a local resident, no one knows what really happened yet....but i hope she is alive somewhere, i hope that someone has her and is not harming her.....and i hope, whoever it is, comes forward and gives her back to her folks, because i can't imagine how they must be feeling right now....god bless them all....

sadly the parents 'begging' on tv would have been watched over and over again by psychologist, forensic psychologist, criminal psychologist, behavioural pyschologist etc (you get what i am saying) to see what the parents bahaviour and alot of it is uncontrolable (look at jon le bennet(think thats the name off top of my head)).

anyway there will be alot more going on behind the scenes than what we can see... so judge not unless you be judged (no i arent religious at all but sadly we all make mistakes just sometimes those mistakes are so large that other learn from them!)
