this could be insecurity on their part... telling you all because they're trying to secure your love and get you to share your secrets as well... but if you find it hard loving them then you should get out of that relationship as you'll only end up hurting each other.

First of all, I don't think you need to share all of your secrets but you do need to keep it honest.
It may be harder to love someone once they are completely exposed (the good, the bad and the ugly) but learning to do so, may be the lesson for which we are all here. Doing so will create an environment where you,too, can feel completely loved. Don't you want that? Especially if you missed your chance at the unconditional love of a parent?

He feels he wants to let you know all of his past, so nothing will come up in the future to upset you, and cause you to leave him..Apparently he must love you very much to want to clear the air with you..Just be patient! Good Luck!

Ok - first of all, it shouldn't be "hard" loving someone if you really love them. Love is easy, harmonious...it flows. That should be your first red flag.
