I put 2 scoops of whey protein (24 g of protein in each scoop), 2 cups of milk (16 g of protein), and some peanut butter ( about 5-7 g of protein). Would it be better if I used 1 scoop of protein instead of 2? Am I actually wasting protein by having so much in one drink? Someone told me that the body can't use all of that protein at once, so a lot of it is a waste. Is this true?

That's right--it's a waste because your body can't use all that protein. Definitely just stick with one scoop.

It depends on the person bigger people need more protein smaller less.
The formula for people trying to buid and maintain muscle is usualy one gram per pound of body weight.

But nevertheless 70 grams is way to much at once. You want to spread your protein intake evenly throughtout the day.

Yeah, its more than your body can absorb. Just go with one.

You can have another shake at night or just after an evening workout if you're trying to bulk up.
