Look at the Roman Catholic theology.....it's basis is in male domination.... Mary was a teacher of the Christian religion just about from its onset.....besides the Roman Catholic church deem women unworthy / incapable of being true Representatives of their theology......in any other capacity other than as nuns......(no insult intended).....

mary magdalen's account of jesus is very gnostic...meaning they speak of the idea that the real world (this world) doesn't really matter. that you don't have to go to church and that salvation comes through the path of enlightenment...not through the church...
the church FATHERS wanted to make money....
Just like today....
