The sodium comes from the flavor packet. The fat comes from the fact that the ramen noodles have been fried.
And I love them too.

From the flavor packet. I put 1/2 a packet instead of a whole one to cut down on the sodium.

It's from the flavor packet.
Somewhere on the noodle package, there should be a sentence instructing you to use half of the flavor packet to reduce the sodium content of the meal.

The noodles are the exact same for all flavors. It's only the flavor packet that's different. You can definitely use the flavor packet. I think the flavor packet would be good in a burger- beef or turkey. People add Lipton onion soup mix all the time- it's about the same thing.

the flavor packet, but i just use have a packet and that flavors it just fine or I would add the entire packet in with the water then draiin the water off so that some of the flavor stays with the noodles but most is drained away and it still tastes great!

The sodium probably comes from the packet cause often times they taste very salty...
noodles have a more bland taste so there is not much flavor there.

the sodium is mostly in the flavor packet. They are also full of MSG, artificial colors, artificial flavors, preservatives, and other nasty crap. You would be doing yourself a favor to eat homemade pasta instead of that processed garbage
