When two people of different religions get married, how do they decide what kind of wedding they will have? And how do they decide in what religion they will raise their kids? I'm just curious.

it would be difficult if the basis of their 'religions' wasnt the same.... catholic and protestant weddings, while both sides are 'Christian' based, can be conflicting at times (spoken out of personal experience, both with our wedding and our son's wedding) so if they don't worship the same God, i cannot imagine what that would be like...

I'm Wiccan, my husband is leaning towards Buddhism. My family is Catholic. His family is Methodist (he has a Methodist minister for a father). We chose a civil ceremony so that no one would freak out and we'd both feel comfortable.
